You might have seen tiny, hard, white bumps on your skin that look like warts or zits. These are called milia, which happen because of the buildup of keratin on the surface. Milia are harmless and don’t mean you have any illness, but they can be annoying to look at, often showing up on your cheeks or under your eyes.
Steam Baths:
A steam bath is great for boosting blood flow, opening up pores, and getting rid of dirt and dead skin cells. You can use this method as a treatment and also to prepare for other solutions.
Honey, Sugar and Lemon Scrub:
Honey Sugar and Lemon Scrub: Honey along with lemon has antibacterial properties that help clean skin. Honey is also good at keeping moisture in while sugar helps scrub away dead skin. Mix one tablespoon of honey with some lemon juice and a bit of sugar. Put this mix on your face for about fifteen minutes then wash it off.
Pomegranate Peel: Pomegranate has soothing qualities that fight inflammation. Crush dried pomegranate peels into powder then mix it with honey. Apply this paste to your face for fifteen minutes before rinsing off. Do this daily for a few weeks to notice changes.
Don’t try to pop milia since it could make things worse!
